Yingying Yang is a versatile artist whose creativeendeavors span photography, mixed-media, and installation art. Her fascination with capturing the essence of human experiences prompted her to pursue a journalism degree during her undergraduate studies. Following her time in a newsroom environment, Yang embarked on a journey to further explore her artistic vision, earning an MFA in Fine Arts from George Washington University.

Throughout her career, Yang's work has been deeply rooted in addressing and representing pressing social issues, a passion that seamlessly translates into her artistic practice. She approaches her craft with a dedication to delving into the complexities of the human condition, employing techniques of reflection, repetition, and detachment to unearth profound insights.

In 2019, Yang achieved a significant milestone with her first group exhibition, "Good Enough," hosted at the prestigious Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at GW in Washington D.C.
